I’m glad you asked!

Well, I’m excited to announce that after travelling all over the world for a year, and then a semester at CGA in Georgia, I’m moving back to the Land of Enchantment aka New Mexico!

I don’t know exactly what I’ll be doing yet.
I know that I’ll be looking for a job of some sort, getting involved in community, discipling some people, and serving. But I don’t know all the details.
The Lord has just given me my next step.

do know that I’ll be working towards something I’ve been dreaming about for a very long time–being a foster mom.
The move back to New Mexico was some give and take for me.

I’ll be honest, I didn’t really want to move. Not because I don’t love the place, or, more importantly, the people there. But because I was afraid.
I had a lot of fears keeping me from chasing some dreams that I’ve had for a long time.
And over the past few months, the Lord has been ripping those fears to shreds and has been calling me to step into fulfillment. He’s been drawing me to see that I am capable, that He does fulfill dreams.

So I’m excited to share that I’ll be not just moving home to NM, but I’m doing so because I want to become a foster parent. I want to go through the state system to become a licensed foster parent. I want to offer a safe home to children who don’t have one. Ultimately, I want to look into adopting. But for now I just want to pursue fostering.

Moving home is a good thing.
The Lord has a lot waiting for me in NM.
And I can’t wait to see what it all is.

This will be the last time I use this blog platform.
If you would be interested in continuing to follow my journey, you can do so here.

It’ll be about my Real Life in the Land of Enchantment.
